This unbelievable trek incorporates the challenge of defeating Africa's tallest peak with the beauty of Tanzania's stunning wildlife, all while supporting a meaningful cause.

Who We Are
The Lake Tahoe Community College Wilderness Education and Outdoor Leadership Program trains the next generation of outdoor educators, guides, and leaders. Our Wilderness Program demonstrates hands-on learning while providing certificates that equip students for professions in the outdoor industry.

The Climb of Gold expedition honors the remembrance of Dr. Clinton Culp, a cherished mentor and outdoor leader who encouraged numerous lives. Profits will support the Clinton Scholarship, allowing forthcoming students to follow their dreams in wilderness education.
